Ms. DeLarco will be hosting a yoga class fundraiser for National Honor Society on Thursday, February 16th from 6:00 - 7:15 p.m. Contact Ms. DeLarco to sign up!


JV boys basketball team lost both games of the Pat Grasso Tournament. They got down early in both games and worked hard to compete down the stretch. Bobby Mercilliot played well in both games and Corey Sager added 14 points in the second game. Many players contributed key minutes and points.

Students will be able to get their physical exams on February 7th. Please contact the health office to schedule a physical.

Rescheduling of Exams:
Due to the early release, we are adjusting the times of the following exams -
•The Algebra I Regents Exam will be at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, January 26th
•The Math 8 Midterm Exams will be at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, January 26th following the Social Studies 8 midterms
•The Algebra midterm will now be given on Monday, January 30th during the regular school day
•The Algebra 2 midterm will now be given on Monday, January 30th during the regular school day


Due to the inclement weather, the Financial Aid presentation originally scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled to Wednesday, February 1st at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium.


The JV Girls Basketball Team lost to Oxford at home 41 to 28.
6 Afton Girls scored in the game with Anna Cable lead the team with 8 points.
Kadence Racine and Abigail Hoyt had great defense!
The Team will play next on Saturday home verse Charlotte Valley.

Afton students attended a BOCES Roadshow presentation. Rose Wilewski, a Culinary Arts senior, and National Technical Honor Society member, shared her experience and encouraged students to take part in the fantastic technical education opportunities offered by DCMO BOCES.

On Wednesday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m., a financial aid counselor from Hartwick College will be at Afton Central School to give a presentation on the college financial aid process in the auditorium.
The counselor will also be available to answer any of your questions about the financial aid process.

Amber Palladino led the team with 6 points.

BGAH Bowling team had an exciting match against Hancock. Ethan Andres bowled his highest game with a 265.
Michael Pratt and Ethan Andres both had a series high 628 and lead the team.
