Congratulations to Zion Lucchese who won an IXL leaderboard competition for gaining proficiency in the most ELA skills in middle school! And a shout out to Mrs. Covey’s sixth grade Academic Support Literacy Lab for leading the entire middle school in ELA skill building!
Our cross-country team is in the sectional championships at Chenango Valley State Park Golf Course on November 2nd at 10:00 a.m.

Yesterday's was one of our favorite days of the school year! We had an amazing time at the Halloween Party. The parade was awesome and the staff box of crayons was colorful!

Afton students enjoyed a fantastic Halloween celebration! Elementary students collected candy from trunk or treat stations hosted by Middle and High School clubs!

The Afton/Harpursville varsity field hockey team is playing in the Field Hockey Sectional Championships at Tioga! Afton/Harpursville is competing against Vestal for the Class B Championship on Saturday, October 28th at 3:30 p.m.

Afton members of the band and chorus traveled to Sidney High School to watch Tri-Town Theatre's production of The Music Man! Students thoroughly enjoyed the show and had a great time. The cost was generously covered through Arts in Education grant money from BOCES!

Come on out to support our football team in their homecoming game this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Harpursville Alumni Football Stadium!
High school students had the opportunity to travel to Mohawk Valley Community College to attend a Criminal Justice Career Expo. Students learned about several career paths in the law enforcement and criminal justice fields. They also got to see demonstrations in repelling, fingerprinting, handcuffing, drones, DWI goggles, and crime scene investigations.
