The JV girls lost at Unatego tonight in overtime, 44-38. The girls started the game on a 24-4 run but were not able to overcome a ferocious comeback by a tough Unatego team. Appalonia Bushaw led the Knights with 14 points. Misty Bushaw led on defense with 6 steals. The girls take on Delaware Academy in their next game in Afton on Thursday, January 23rd, at 5:30 p.m.

Congrats to the JV girls for their 59-24 win over Deposit/Hancock on Thursday. Appalonia Bushaw led the Knights with 21 points and 11 steals. Rylee Rupakus also added 10 points. Megan Racine and McKenna Ross combined for 16 rebounds. Misty Bushaw hit the team's only 3-pointer in the win.



Our Afton STEP students enjoyed using Micro:bit robots and CoDrone EDU drones to develop their technology skills! Keep up the great work, Students!

On Friday, the JV girls basketball team lost to Bainbridge-Guilford 52-40. Appalonia Bushaw led the Knights in scoring with 15 points. Megan Racine had a team-high 9 rebounds. The Knights hit 4 threes in the loss: Appalonia Bushaw (2), Rylee Rupakus (1), and Ariana Florance (1).

After defeating South Kortright in the 1st round, the girls defeated Edmeston/Morris in the championship (44-24). Megan Racine led the Knights with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Rylee Rupakus added 12 points and 5 steals. The girls hit 5 threes in the win (Jenna Wilson, Abbey Paoletti (2), Rupakus, and Megan Racine).
